My journey with Ashutosh sir began way back in 2008, when he started teaching my brother. I remember he used to come at our place to give extra classes and make sure that my brother worked really hard for his board exams. But unfortunately we lost our brother in the year 2009, just before his board exams. It was a tough time for all of us.  Then exactly after 7 years, I started my coaching with Ashu Sir, and it was one hell of an experience. He wasn’t just a mathematics teacher for me, he helped me to mould myself in every aspect of life. The amount of respect I have for him is inexplicable. I remember he used to make us watch videos about all the successful personalities including Shahrukh Khan, Obama, Sachin Tendulkar, Amitabh Bachan, Nelson Mandela, Oprah Winfrey and others just to motivate us to do something in life. He made sure that every student believed in him/herself that he/she is special and unique. He is basically Nikumbh Sir from Taare Zameen Par. He has always been there for me in all my ups and downs of life. He guided me throughout my journey from pursuing commerce to taking fashion as my major to moving out of India. He is one constant support in my life. He is a true example of the saying ‘teachers are like candles who burn themselves to light up the life of their students’. I cannot thank him enough for whatever he has done for me. He was and will always be my favourite mentor.
