A lot many times the pressure of exams causes stress. First of all let’s understand what Stress is. Stress is one’s response to pressure and we must know that it can play a positive as well as a negative role in our lives. On one hand, a small amount of pressure can be useful to keep ourselves focused and on the other hand , it can be a distractful element too which can prove to be harmful for us.

If you’re experiencing exam stress, then it’s important to remind yourself that this is only a small part of your life, even though it might not feel like that at that point of time. So to not take stress and to give your best in exams few things are to be kept in mind:

Number one!
The very first thing that one needs to learn is time management. How to divide your time to study for a large syllabus. The best technique is to make and follow a Study Schedule. Study time should be consistent for each day to create positive study habits. Do not create a rigid schedule, keep it a little flexible.

Number two!
A proper amount of sleep is really important for keeping the mind fresh and to avoid tiredness. Studying in short periods works best. Taking a break every couple of hours will keep you more energized.

Number three!
A proper healthy diet will keep you in a good mood to study. Do smart snacking by opting for healthy snacks like fruits, dry fruits, etc.

Number four!
Work, Rest and Play,
All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. That’s why adequate breaks are essential to ensure that you recall the information you have studied & also to absorb the new information you read. Clear your mind, lift your mood & break up your studies with short bursts of exercise.

    There’s one more trick I read on quora that you can follow for your exam schedule (or any type of reading schedule). While you are studying, keep a water bottle near you, and whenever you feel sleepy, take a sip from that bottle and then have a short walk in your room
    (wherever you are studying) . I don’t know how much this works since I haven;t tried it as well, but as a student, while you try other tricks, try this one as well, it will be good if it works. 🙂
